Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who recently embraced fatherhood, is still struggling to come to terms with the sad demise of his father Rishi Kapoor. We remember how RK was left teary-eyed and was in a state of denial when his mom Neetu told him about his father’s cancer diagnosis. And, the recent outing of the actor only proves how badly he misses his father every day. On Thursday, Ranbir was spotted outside the T-Series office in Mumbai but it was his phone’s wallpaper featuring Rishi’s picture that caught everyone’s attention.

In a video shared on a paparazzo’s Instagram account, the Rockstar actor could be seen posing for shutterbugs with his mobile in his hand. Just when the paps zoomed into his phone, we saw a beautiful glimpse of his phone’s wallpaper. Ranbir’s phone wallpaper featured his father Rishi Kapoor's picture of holding a glass of his drink. The actor wore a white shirt with blue denim jeans, hats, and shoes. In an earlier interview with News 18, Neetu Kapoor spoke about Ranbir missing his father a lot and revealed he still has Rishi Kapoor's picture as his screensaver. She even mentioned there were days when she had tears in his eyes, but the actor has always put up a brave front. 

For the unversed, the legendary actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, due to cancer. He was diagnosed with leukemia in 2018 and went to New York City for treatment. On 29th April, Rishi was admitted to Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital owing to breathing difficulties and died the next day from remission of leukemia.
